Create Tape Request - Purpose
DM360E
The Create Tape Request program (DM360E) is an online program that allows the user to submit a batch request to create a bank remittance tape from the Bank Remittance file (DM100AP). The tape creation cycle starts with DM540E which processes payments selected for remittance. If the selected support is magnetic, the system creates a member in DM100AP for the particular company/location, bank code, and remittance type. The system writes records for that combination to the member created in DM100AP.
DM360E validates the company/location, bank code, and remittance type and formats these fields into a file and member name for the tape. The program then runs a CL program (DM560C). DM560C writes the DM100AP member to tape and deletes the member from DM100AP when it is finished.
