Automatic Draft Application Request - Purpose

The Automatic Draft Application Request program (DM140E) is an online program that allows the user to submit a batch request for the automatic draft application. The program displays the Automatic Draft Application Request screen (DM140S01). The request screen prompts the user to enter an optional batch number and/or press enter to confirm the automatic draft application. If the user presses Enter, the program returns a parameter to the calling CLP program (DM140C), which then submits the automatic draft application batch stream (DM150C). DM150C calls the Automatic Draft Application program (DM150E) and the Batch Payment Entry and Application program (AR125E).
The batch number is optional and may be used to group a set of transactions in a batch. If entered, the batch number is passed to the Data Entry file (AR125AP1) by the Automatic Draft Application program (DM150E) for all transactions that are to be processed by the Batch Payment Entry and Application program (AR125E).
