Multi-Line Receipt Maintenance - Purpose

PO270E

The Multi-Line Receipt Maintenance program (PO270E) records purchase order receipts.  If a receipt was not already recorded in the Purchase Order Receipt program (PO210E), purchase order lines are displayed against which receipts may be applied.  If a receipt was already entered in the Purchase Order Receipt program, the receipt lines need only be completed with the receiving quantity/stock location information.  The text descriptions for the structure, indicators, work fields, and files of the Multi-line Receipt Maintenance program are located in PO270ETXT (Text for PO270E) and are copied into the program when it is compiled.

The Multi-line Receipt Detail screen (PO270S02) displays a parcel line for each receipt line with the counted quantity per parcel equal to the received quantity of the receipt line.  Upon completion of the receipt transaction, a message is sent to the Purchasing asynchronous monitor to initiate the Receipt Quantity Control Maintenance program (PO220E) to post all receipt lines created.

The fields displayed on the detail screen (PO270S02) are determined by the characteristics of the order and part being processed.  The display of lot control fields on the multi-line screen is determined by the system lot control option.  The program reads the Expert Configurator Installed Flag to determine whether the configuration code should be displayed on the multi-line screen.

The Receipt Inquiry program (PO890E) may be entered by pressing F9 - Enter Inquiry from the Function Select screen.  The Purchase Order Retrieval program (PO920E) may be called by pressing F18 - Order Retrieval.  This permits the display of the purchase order information if the purchase order number is not given on the bill of lading.  After the purchase order is closed, the asynchronous monitor will attempt to close the related requisitions.  This will occur if the requisition quantity has been fully covered and no other purchase orders cover the requisition.
