Picker Print - Purpose
OP510E
The Picker Print program (OP510E) prints pickers at the sourcing warehouse in either immediate or off-line mode. You may request pickers immediately from the Sales Order Maintenance program (OP100E) or the Blanket/Backorder Release program (OP110E). Otherwise, pickers are printed in an off-line mode after the picker report records have been extracted by the Order Processing Report Extract program (OP500E). In both immediate and off-line mode you may print the picker in regular or bar coded format (if the Electronic Data Collection module is installed), depending on the value of the bar code print option on the Reference file (REFERP).
On each picker document, space is provided to enter ship date, shipped by, bill of lading information, quantity shipped, stock location, and lot number. Bar coded pickers are similar except that space is provided for a bar coded order number, a bar coded order release number, and a bar coded line number. This information is used as input into the Shipping and Billing Conversation (OP120E).
