Bundle Master Maintenance - Purpose
OP280E
The Bundle Master Maintenance program (OP280E) displays a select, header, and detail screen for the maintenance of sales order bundle records. You may add a new bundle record, change an old bundle record, or activate/deactivate an old bundle record.
A sales order bundle is a collection of parts that are sold together. Each bundle record contains data on the effectivity dates (start and end dates) for the total bundle as well as a list of each part, part relation to the bundle, part effectivity dates, part quantity, and part cost per unit of measure. A part's relation to the bundle may be A (most important), B (second most important), or Z (least important). For a more detailed explanation of bundles, see the Order Processing Overview, key concepts section on Bundling.
