Detailed Change Configuration Exception Report - Purpose
EC581E
The Change Configuration Exception Report program (EC581E) reports configured component part option changes due to sales order maintenance transactions. The program prints all sales order option records and sales order options audit trail records and then compares the current part configuration and the part configuration before the last sales order change transaction. This program is called from EC580E, the Change Configuration report, when the request is made for a detailed report. The report is requested from daily reports. The processing of this report is very similar to EC580E, but will allow for more detailed information to be displayed to the user. There are four possible scenarios. First is a new order, which is a configured order that was entered and never changed (no matching audit record). Second is a scenario of the existing manufacturing order that should be deleted or detached. In this case, a change configuration sales order line is no longer in the system, but the audit trail record does remain on the system. The third scenario there is no change. In this case the sales order option line has been changed, but the options and option values remain the same The fourth and final scenario is the changed sales order. In this case the sales order line has been changed and the options and/or option values have also changed.
