Select one or more menus, and press Enter to maintain authority.

The User Authority Maintenance Menu Screen (MA140S03) prompts you with a list of menus to which the security officer specified on the function select screen is authorized. You must select at least one of the menus for which you wish to maintain option authority.
Once selected, the User Authority Maintenance Detail Screen (MA140S02) is displayed to allow you to maintain authority to the options on each menu for the user(s) specified on the Function Select screen. You must select at least one menu from this list by placing an 'X' in the select field to the left of the menu name. When a valid selection is made, the detail screen is displayed with the options for the first selected menu.
You may view existing option authority information for specific users by pressing F9 (Inquiry) to enter the User Authority Inquiry Conversation. When you exit from the inquiry conversation, you are returned to this screen and any information entered before the inquiry is displayed. You may exit from this maintenance conversation by pressing F3.
SELECT
Required. Used to specify one or more menus for which you wish to maintain option authority for the user(s) specified on the function select screen. Type an 'X' in this field next to the menu name of the menu you wish to maintain. When you press Enter, the User Authority Maintenance Detail Screen (MA140S02) is displayed with the options for the first menu. Each time you press Enter from the detail screen, the next menu selected is displayed. You may press F10 (Select) on the detail screen to return to this screen. Once all menus selected are displayed, you are returned to the function select screen. There must be at least one option defined on the Menu/Option File (MA120M) for each menu you select.
MENU NAME
Display Only. A menu is a list of options from which you may choose to access conversations or display other menus. This field identifies the menu for which you wish to maintain user authority.
MENU DESCRIPTION
Display Only. The menu description provides more information for identifying the menu for which you wish to maintain user authority. The menu description is defined on the Menu Master File (MA100M).
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Displays the detail screen with the options corresponding to the menu selected on this screen. If the selection was invalid (not an 'X' or no selection), the screen is re-displayed with an error message.
F3 - Displays the application menu.
F9 - Transfers you to the User Authority Inquiry Conversation where you may view existing authorized menu options for specific users. When you exit the inquiry, you are returned to this screen which will contain any information entered before the inquiry.
F10 - Returns you to the function select screen without updating any of the master files.
F15 - Displayed only on the detail screen. Allows you to re-enter all of the data on the screen.
