The Failed Off-line Transactions screen displays each batch transaction that was not completed properly.
o Type an X in the Select field (the column labeled 'S') for each transaction you DO NOT want to recover; leave the field blank to recover a transaction. Use the roll keys to display all transactions.
Once you have selected all of the transactions to be recovered, press F22. A recovered error entry is written to the journal receiver for each selected transaction. File updates are removed for any jobs not selected.
o To exit this screen without recovering any of the transactions, press F13. The list of transactions will remain in the system until you change the journal receiver.
OFF-LINE ROLLBACK INFORMATION
For more information about Off-line Rollback, type an X to the left of this paragraph and press F11.
The following fields are displayed for each transaction:
SELECT
Optional. Type an X in this field if you DO NOT want to recover the corresponding transaction. To recover the transaction, leave this field blank.
JOB NAME
A brief description of the transaction.
USER
Name of the user who initiated the transaction.
NUMBER
Sequence number assigned to the transaction.
DATE and TIME
The date and time when the error occurred.
PROGRAM
The program that was processing when the error occurred.
COMMAND KEYS
F13 - Display the Recovery Management Menu without recovering any of the transactions.
F22 - Cont Recovery
