The Menu Officer Inquiry Function Select Screen (MA830S01) allows you to enter a security officer ID for which you wish to view menu assignments, or you may enter a menu group for which you wish to view a list of authorized security officers. If either the security officer ID or the menu group is invalid, you remain on this screen, and an error message is displayed.
Once the officer ID or menu group is validated, the Menu Officer Inquiry Detail Screen (MA830S02) is displayed in one or two formats. If an officer ID is entered, a list of menu assignments is displayed. If a menu group is entered, a list of authorized officers is displayed.
You may exit from this conversation by pressing F3=Exit. If you entered this inquiry through the inquiry function from another conversation, you will be returned to the same point in that conversation when you press F3.
MENU SECURITY OFFICER ID
Required (if menu group is blank). The menu security officer is allowed to maintain authority for users to specific menus. This field identifies the menu security officer for whom you wish to view menu assignments. The following validation is performed on this field:
The menu security officer ID must exist on Reference File category E15 (menu security officer).
There must be at least one menu assignment for the officer on the Security Master File (MA130M).
This field cannot be blank if the menu group field is blank. This field cannot be all nines.
MENU GROUP
Required (if menu security officer ID is blank). A menu group is a collection of related programs, each of which performs a business function. This field identifies the menu group for which you wish to view a list of authorized security officers. The following validation is performed on this field:
The menu group must be defined on Reference File category 098 (Category Maintenance Areas).
At least one menu must be defined for the menu group on the Menu Master File (MA100M).
The field must not be blank if the officer ID is blank. The field must not be all nines.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Displays the detail screen with the menu group or security officer information corresponding to your selection on the function select screen. If either field on the function select screen is invalid, you remain on this screen and an error message is displayed.
F3 - Displays the application menu. If you entered this conversation through the inquiry function key, you will be returned to the same point in the conversation from which you requested the inquiry.
F4 - Displays a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
