The Menu/Option Maintenance Function Select Screen prompts you for the name of a menu in order to maintain the options on that menu. You may add, change, or delete options on the menu as well as copy all of the options from one menu to another by entering the appropriate code in the maintenance code field. Menu/Option combinations are maintained on the Menu/Option File (MA120M). All fields on this screen are required. If the maintenance code is invalid, this screen is re-displayed with an error message. If only the menu name is invalid, the partial screen is displayed prompting you for a valid menu name. When both fields are valid, the detail screen is displayed to perform the appropriate maintenance.
You may view existing menu/option information by pressing F9 (Inquiry) to enter the Menu/Option Inquiry Conversation. When you exit from the inquiry conversation, you are returned to this screen and any information entered before the inquiry is re-displayed. You may exit from this conversation by pressing F3=Exit. If you add an option to a menu, all security officers with authority to the menu group of the menu are granted authority to the new option.

If you select the change or delete function, options must exist for the menu on the Menu/Option File (MA120M).
