The Menu Officer Maintenance Detail Screen (MA130S02) is displayed in two forms: the partial screen, and the detail screen. The detail screen is displayed after valid information is entered on the function select screen (MA130S01), and after a valid menu security officer is entered on the partial screen.
The partial screen is displayed after the detail screen to allow you to maintain menu assignments for another officer with the same maintenance code. The partial screen is also displayed to prompt you for a valid menu security officer if you enter an invalid one on the function select screen.
The detail screen allows you to add or delete menu assignments for the menu security officer. Once the Enter key is pressed, the Security Master File (MA130M) is updated with the new assignments and authority to the menu options will be granted or revoked accordingly on the Security Detail File (MA140M). In add mode, all menus not assigned to the menu security officer are displayed. In delete mode, all menus assigned to the menu security officer are displayed.
You may view existing menu assignments for menu security officers by pressing F9 (Inquiry) to enter the Menu Officer Inquiry Conversation. When you exit the inquiry, you are returned to this screen and any information entered before the inquiry is re-displayed. You may exit from this conversation by pressing F3=Exit. The function select screen may be displayed from the partial or detail screen by pressing F10=Select.
MENU SECURITY OFFICER ID
Required (partial). Display Only. The menu security officer is allowed to maintain authority for users to specific menus. This field identifies the menu security officer for whom you wish to grant/revoke authority for menus. If the partial screen is displayed, the following validation occurs:
The menu security officer ID must exist on Reference File category E15 (menu security officer).
If you are adding menu assignments, the menu security officer must not already be assigned to all menus.
If you are deleting menu assignments, the menu security officer must be assigned to at least one menu on the Security Master File (MA130M).
OPTION
Optional (select). Used to select one or more menus to assign to or remove from a menu security officer's authority. The following validation is performed on this field:
If you are adding menu assignments, only a '1' is valid in this field. You may also press F21 to add all of the menus displayed on the screen.
If you are deleting menu assignments, only a '4' is valid in this field. You may also press F21 to delete all of the menus assigned to the officer.
MENU GROUP
Display Only. A menu group is a set of functionally related menus and options, each of which performs a business function. If you are in add mode, the codes listed in this field identify the menu groups on Reference File category 098 that are not assigned to the menu security officer. You may select the ones you wish to assign to the officer. If you are in delete mode, the codes listed in this field identify the menu groups on the Security Master File (MA130M) that are assigned to the menu security officer. You may select the ones you wish to delete from the officer's authority.
MENU GROUP DESCRIPTION
Display Only. This field provides more information for identifying the menu group. The menu group is defined on Reference File category 098.
