The Menu Officer Maintenance Function Select Screen prompts you to specify a menu security officer ID for authority maintenance. You may add or delete a menu to/from the list of authorized menus for the officer. All fields on this screen are required. If the password or maintenance code is invalid, this screen is re-displayed with an error message. If the menu security officer ID is invalid, the partial screen is displayed prompting you to enter a valid ID. When both fields are valid, the detail screen is displayed to perform the appropriate maintenance.
You may view existing menus assigned to a menu security officer by pressing F9 (Inquiry) to enter the Menu Officer Inquiry Conversation. When you exit from the inquiry conversation, you are returned to this screen and any information entered before the inquiry is displayed. You may exit from this maintenance conversation by pressing F3.
SYSTEM SECURITY OFFICER PASSWORD

The password is used to verify the identity of the user since the system security officer is the only person who may maintain authority for menu security officers.

If you are adding menu assignments, the menu security officer must not already be assigned to all menus.
If you are deleting menu assignments, the menu security officer must be assigned to at least one menu on the Security Master File (MA130M).
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. Must be one of the codes listed on this screen. Valid options are:
Add. This allows you to assign authority for a menu to the menu security officer, giving the officer the authority to grant users access to menu options. A list of all menus not yet assigned to the menu security officer is displayed on the Menu Officer Maintenance Detail Screen (MA130S02).
Delete. This allows you to remove a menu assigned to a menu security officer. A list of all menus assigned to the officer is displayed on the detail screen.
COMMAND KEYS

If the menu security officer ID is invalid, the partial screen is displayed. If the password or the maintenance code is invalid, this screen is re-displayed with an error message.
