Fast path codes allow you to move through the system without using menus. The Fast Path Maintenance Function Select Screen (MS180S01) allows you to maintain a fast path relationship with a mnemonic code for a specific program. You may choose to add a fast path relationship to the Fast Path Control File (CT130M) or delete a fast path relationship from the Fast Path Control File by entering the appropriate program name and maintenance code.
All fields on this screen are required. If the program name you enter is invalid, the partial screen is displayed prompting you to input a valid program name. If the maintenance code you enter is invalid, you remain on this screen and an error message is displayed. If both entries are valid, the detail screen is displayed to allow you to maintain the fast path relationship. You may exit from the Fast Path Maintenance Conversation by pressing F3.
PROGRAM NAME
Required. The name of a program in the system for which you wish to maintain a fast path relationship. The following validation is performed on this field:
If you selected the add option, the program name must not already exist on the Fast Path Control File (CT130M).
If you selected the delete option, the program name must exist on the Fast Path Control File (CT130M).
The program name must be left-justified, and the field cannot be blank or all nines.
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. Must be one of the codes listed on this screen. Valid options are:
Add. This allows you to add a fast path relationship for a program on the Fast Path Control File (CT130M).
Delete. This allows you to delete a fast path relationship for a program from the Fast Path Control File (CT130M).
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Displays the detail screen corresponding to your chosen option if all information you enter on this screen is valid. If the program name is invalid, the partial screen is displayed. If the maintenance code is invalid, this screen is re-displayed with an error message.
F3 - Displays the application menu.
F4 - Displays a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
