Transfer Order Receiving
As transfer order shipments arrive at the receiving company/warehouse, clerks record the transactions using the Transfer Order Receiving conversation (TC130E). If a shipment has been redistributed in transit (for example, from one large truck to several smaller trucks), multiple receipts can be recorded against each line/shipment record. The details of each receipt transaction are written to the Part History Log (IC885AL), and a cumulative account of receipt transactions for each line/shipment is recorded on the Transfer Order Shipments/Receipts File (TC100M4). Screen validation ensures that the actual receipt quantity is less than or equal to the net receipt quantity (the shipped quantity minus any previously received quantity) for the line/shipment.
