This screen displays the actual manufacturing, transfer, and purchase orders, as well as all receiving transfer and purchase requisitions, due in a selected period/week.  The current and tentative schedules are compared, and a suggested action message is provided to assist you in modifying the current schedule to meet the tentative.  You may modify the order quantities for open and firm manufacturing orders by entering the new quantity and pressing F9.  If no schedule currently exists, F9 is not an available command key.

PLANT

Display only.  Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done.

PART NUMBER/DESCRIPTION

Display only.  The part for which the Tentative Master Schedule will be maintained.  Must be a valid, active master scheduled part.

PERIOD

Display only.  The starting and ending dates for the selected week.

ACTION MESSAGE

Display only.  Order action message based on the comparison of the current schedule and proposed tentative master schedule.

CURRENT SCHEDULE

Display only.  The current schedule of manufacturing, transfer and purchase orders, as well as any transfer and purchase requisitions created as supply, for the week.  This figure includes closed and partially completed orders.  If the order has been closed, or if the quantity completed is greater than the order quantity, this figure will include the quantity completed rather than the order quantity.  For a requisition, only the uncovered quantity is included in the current schedule.

PLANNING POLICY CODE

Display only.  The planning policy code for the part.

Possible values for MRP parts are:

A/R - As Required

F/Q - Fixed Quantity

F/T - Fixed Time

P/C - Physical Control

Possible values for JIT parts are:

F/Q - Fixed Quantity

F/T - Fixed Time

PTL - Partial

AVE - Average

SCHEDULE - PROPOSED

Display only.  The proposed tentative schedule from the Detail screen, converted to an ordering requirement by inflating using the yield factor.

PLANNING POLICY QUANTITY

Display only.  The planning policy quantity in stockkeeping unit of measure for the part being processed.  Used with the Planning Policy Code to define the optimum order size.

UNIT OF MEASURE

Display only.  The stockkeeping unit of measure.

YIELD FACTOR

Display only.  Used to inflate the item order quantity to account for expected scrap by increasing the required demand quantity of the parent part and planning the order quantity accordingly in the Master Scheduling and Requirements Planning modules.

PLANNING POLICY INCREMENT

Display only.  The order policy increment quantity in stockkeeping unit of measure.  The quantity that is added to the order quantity once the minimum order quantity is exceeded.

UNIT OF MEASURE

Display only.  The stockkeeping unit of measure.

BY-PRODUCT SUPPLY

Display only.  If this item (item 1) is a co-product of another item (item 2) and has a usage code of produced, then you can expect to receive a quantity of item 1 from the manufacturer of item 2.  This makes item 1 a by-product of item 2.  The by-product supply is the quantity of item 1 produced.

ORDER TYPE

Display only.  Valid values are:

MFG - Manufacturing Order

PUR - Purchase Order

REQ - Requisition (Purchase or Transfer)

TRO - Transfer Order

FLW - Flow Authorization

ORDER DUE DATE

Display only.  The date the order should be completed.

ORDER START DATE

 

Display only.  The date the order should be started.

ORDER STATUS

Display only.  The status of the order.  Possible values are:

P - Planned Order/Flow Authorization

F - Firm Order/Flow Authorization

O - Open Order

C - Manufacturing Closed

Z - Inventory Accounting Closed

ORDER NUMBER

Display only for MRP, JIT, purchased, transfer, and raw material parts.  The unique number assigned to the order or requisition.

PRODUCTION CENTER

Display only for JIT parts.  The production center for the JIT manufactured part.

ORDER QUANTITY

Optional.  The current order quantity is displayed.  You can change this quantity for firm or open manufacturing orders by entering a new quantity and pressing F9.

QUANTITY RECEIVED/COVERED

Display only.  The quantity which has been received into inventory against the order or requisition.

BALANCE DUE

Display only.  The quantity that remains to be received on the order or requisition.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Return to the detail screen.

F2    - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered.  Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen.  When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.

F3    - Exit the program without update.

F10   - Return to the function select screen without updating changes.

F19   - Update the manufacturing order with the new quantity you entered.  The updating is performed asynchronously.
