This screen is used to select a key facility/part combination for Resource Profile Maintenance. Resource Profile records may be added, changed, or deleted. The Resource Profile provides a load pattern that may be extended against tentative/simulated/current production schedules in order to do rough cut capacity inquiry/reporting.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which the maintenance will be performed. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant on Reference File category 409. This field defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID, but may be changed by pressing F17.
KEY FACILITY NUMBER
Required. The key facility number uniquely defines a key facility. Those work areas that are most likely to present capacity problems should be defined as key facilities so that the load on these work areas can be monitored through key facility loading. A key facility may be a workcenter, a department, or a group of workcenters. A workcenter is defined as being part of a key facility through workcenter maintenance.
PART NUMBER
Required. The part number should be a standard master scheduled part, daily master scheduled part, or a service part. This number must exist on the Part Master file and in the plant specified.
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. The maintenance code allows you to select the function you wish to perform from the options listed on the screen.
For add and change transactions (options 1 and 2), the full detail screen will be displayed. For delete transactions (option 3), only the Key Facility Number and the item number are displayed on the detail screen, and you are prompted to press ENTER a second time to process the deletion.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Display the detail screens.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F17 - Used to change the plant in which the user is currently working.
