This screen displays the sources of demand for a selected period. The period is selected on the Projected Demand Inquiry - Summary screen. The demand is broken down into sources of direct demand for the part itself and any indirect demand (parent part demand) caused by exploding a bill of material where the item is a component.
PLANT
Display only. The plant for which the information is displayed.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The item whose demand is displayed.
PART TYPE
Display only. The part type for the item.
DEMAND CODE
Display only. Indicates whether the part is a daily or standard master scheduled item, a requirements planning item, or a service part.
DATE RANGE
Display only. The period for which the demand information is shown. This period was selected from the Projected Demand Inquiry Summary screen.
DEMAND SOURCE - PLANT
Display only. The plant associated with the Company/Warehouse that has placed the demand on the manufacturing site.
DEMAND SOURCE - COMPANY/WAREHOUSE
Display only. The Company/Warehouse that has placed the demand on the manufacturing site.
DEMAND SOURCE - DEMAND TYPE
Display only. The Demand Type associated with the projected demand. Will be a demand type defined on Reference category 463. This may be used to segregate demand projections by market segments.
PARENT PART
Display only. If the demand is entered at the Product Family level, the part number of the planning parent will be displayed.
CUSTOMER REFERENCE
Display only. The customer reference associated with the demand.
DEMAND
Display only. The projected demand quantity. If demand was entered for a planning parent, the demand quantity is the parent demand multiplied by the quantity of the component per parent.
PROJECTED DEMAND DATE
Display only. The start date of the period for which demand was entered. If demand was entered weekly, the date will be a week start date. If demand was entered for monthly periods, the date will be a month start date. If demand was entered in periods, the date will be the start date of a user-defined period.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to the Projected Demand Summary Screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F5 - Review demand for the previous period.
F6 - Review demand for the next period.
F9 - Enter the Projected Demand Maintenance Program.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen.
