This inquiry allows you to review total projected demand for a part, as well as the detailed sources of demand from Demand Types, Distribution Warehouses, and Product Families. EDI demand, both passed from the Future Three interface and manually entered, will not be displayed as it is considered actual demand, not projected.
PART NUMBER
Required. Must be an existing, active part.
PLANT
Optional. Used to identify the plant for which projected demand inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to the user ID, but may be changed by pressing F17.
STARTING DATE
Required. Projected demand will be displayed from this date onward.
PERIOD OPTION
Required. The demand will be accumulated over the period, and will be displayed as a quantity per period. Valid options are:
1 - Calendar Weeks
2 - Calendar Months
3 - Calendar Periods
4 - Daily Intervals
You may not use Daily Intervals with standard master scheduled parts (i.e., parts with demand code = M).
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Display detail screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Projected Demand Maintenance Program.
