This screen is used to request the Key Facility Load Report. This report shows the load by key facility that is required to produce either the current schedule, the tentative master schedule, or the simulated master schedule, depending on the option selected. You may also specify the calendar format of the report (weeks, months, etc.), and the appropriate planning method. The key facility load report is used by the master scheduler to analyze the resource implications of the proposed schedule.
SCHEDULE OPTION
Required. The Key Facility Load Report may be run against either the current schedule (option C), the simulated master schedule (option S), or the tentative master schedule (option T).
Orders contributing to load:
Option C - Manufacturing orders, transfer requisitions, transfer orders, and flow requirements for master scheduled parts, and sales orders transfer orders, transfer requisitions, Synchro offset releases, and forecasts for service parts.
Option S - Simulated manufacturing orders, transfer requisitions, transfer orders, and flow requirements for daily master scheduled parts. Sales orders, transfer orders, transfer requisitions, Synchro offset releases, and forecasts for service parts.
Option T - Tentative master schedule for standard master scheduled parts. Sales orders, transfer orders, transfer requisitions, Synchro offset releases, and forecasts for service parts.
PERIOD OPTION
Required. The Key Facility Load Report can reflect either calendar weeks (option 1), calendar months (option 2), calendar periods (option 3), or daily intervals (option 4), depending on the option that you select.
PLANNING METHOD
Required. The planning method is used when selecting user-defined periods to determine whether the planning periods defined for daily master scheduled or standard master scheduled periods will be used.
KEY FACILITY
Optional. Information for the key facility that you enter will be displayed on the Key Facility Load Report.
PLANT
Optional. This field is used to identify the plant for which the Key Facility Load Report should be shown. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). This field defaults to the plant assigned to the user ID, but may be changed. If left blank, orders from all plants will be considered (provided your user ID is authorized to all plants).
CALENDAR CODE
Required if plant is blank. Used as an override to the calendar code associated with a particular plant in conjunction with the period option to determine the period dates and the number of working days within the period.
PERIOD START DATE
Required. The Key Facility Load Report will reflect information beginning with the date that you enter in this field. It is calculated based on the starting date and ending date offsets, which are found on Reference File category 464.
PERIOD END DATE
Required. The Key Facility Load Report will reflect information through the date that you enter in this field. It is calculated based on the starting date the ending date offsets, which are found on Reference File category 464.
PRINT DETAIL
Required. This field determines if any detail data for the key facilities will be printed. If this field is NO, only summary information will be printed. If this field is YES, those key facilities whose load exceeds the exception percentage will print detail information, while those that do not will print summary data only.
EXCEPTION PERCENTAGE
Optional. This determines which key facilities will print detail information and which will print summary. Those key facilities whose load exceeds this percentage will print detail information, while those that do not exceed this percentage will print summary data. The default value for this field is zero (all key facilities will print detail information). This field is ignored if the Print Detail flag is set to NO.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Request the report.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit without update.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Transaction Review Program to review and delete report request.
F16 - Allows you to change the output location where this report will printed.
