The Key Facility Load Select screen allows the user to request detailed load information at a key facility for a specified time period.

PLANNED ROUTING DATE

Display only.  The date that the planned routings were last generated.  The planned routings need not be regenerated unless the product design or key facility definition has changed.

KEY FACILITY

Required.  Must be a facility that has been previously defined.

PLANT

Optional.  Used to identify the plant for which load inquiry will be done.  Plant must be valid, and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409).  Defaults to the plant assigned to the user ID, but may be changed.  If left blank, orders from all plants will considered.

CALENDAR CODE

Required if plant is blank.  Used as an override to the calendar code associated with a particular plant in conjunction with the period option to determine the period dates and the number of working days within the period.

START DATE

Required.  Load information will be displayed from the start date of week, month, or period in which the entered date falls.  This information is calculated based on the starting date and ending date offsets, which are found on Reference File category 464.

HORIZON DATE

Required.  The ending date for which information will be displayed for the key facility.

SCHEDULE OPTION

Required.  Select the schedule to be used as the basis for generating load information.  The load may be based on the current schedule of manufacturing orders (C), the simulated schedule of manufacturing orders (S), or the tentative schedule (T), which allows you to analyze the feasibility of a simulated or tentative schedule before accepting it.

PERIOD OPTION

Required.  You may request load information for the key facility to be reflected in calendar weeks (option 1), calendar months (option 2), calendar periods (option 3), or daily intervals (option 4), depending on the option that you select.

PLANNING METHOD

Required.  The planning method is used when selecting user-defined periods to determine whether the planning periods defined for daily master scheduled or standard master scheduled periods will be used.
