Purpose

The Master Scheduling Transaction Register provides a log of all transactions entered by a user in date and time entered sequence.  It is a single report with several report headings, according to function code.  The appropriate heading precedes its function code.  This report lists each transaction processed against the master files.  The transactions that were not posted, due to input errors, are listed with all corresponding error codes and messages.

The user specifies whether all transactions are to be printed on the Transaction Register, or only invalid transactions, via the Master Scheduling Transaction Register Print Option on the Master Scheduling System Defaults record (category 464) on the Reference File.
