Analyst Responsibility

Each part can be assigned to an analyst or planner in the production control department.  These analysts must be defined on Reference File category 235.  If analysts are assigned, the following MAC-PAC activities can be performed by analyst code:

·     The Forecasting Interface application can download actual sales statistics and upload projected demand for all parts belonging to one analyst.

·     Within Master Scheduling, the production schedule can be finalized for all items belonging to a planner.

·     Several Master Scheduling, Requirements Planning, and Inventory Control reports can be generated by analyst.
