The Direct Ship Inventory Account is a "dummy" account that is used in lieu of an inventory account for direct ship orders. In a direct ship order, the goods are shipped directly from the supplier to the customer. The inventory is never received in the warehouse. The credits and debits for the Direct Ship Inventory Account should always be off-setting.
The Sales and Receivables entries are generated by the Order Processing module.
