The Responsibility Report Heading screen allows the entry of ten report heading lines which can be specified for each Responsibility Report. The heading line is used to sequence and position headings on the report. If less than ten headings are entered, column and line descriptions are printed after the last heading.
Each report heading line has 132 or 198 available positions for report information depending on the values entered for Reference File category 025. (For more information, see the report description of the Responsibility Report Title File Mass Maintenance Report (GL400) in the report section of this manual.) However, there are three lines where data that is left or right justified is overlaid by system information. On line one, the first positions are reserved for the date and the last positions are reserved for the page number. On line two, the first positions are reserved for the time. On line three, the first positions are reserved for the report number.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY CODE
Required. The major responsibility code identifies the higher-level responsibility area to which one or more lower-level responsibility areas report. Responsibility Reports can be printed for each major responsibility area defined. Valid responsibility codes are found on the Reference File.
LINE NUMBER
Required. The heading line number is used to sequence and position Responsibility Report headings on the report. Each report may have up to ten heading lines.
HEADING DESCRIPTION
Optional. Each heading description allows up to either 132 or 198 characters. Each heading description that is entered, will be printed on the report in the columns specified on the screen. If blank heading lines are desired, a heading record does not need to be entered. When a break in line numbers is detected, blank lines are printed to space the heading records. For example, if only lines 2 and 6 were defined, lines 3, 4, and 5 would be blank.
