This screen is used to enter or display the line descriptions and side captions printed on Analysis Reports. Each line description may be made up to 40 positions long. A separate set of line descriptions is required for each Analysis Report.
REPORT
Required. Identifies the report associated with these line descriptions. The name of the report must exist on Reference File category 130.
PAGE
Required. This is the page number where the line descriptions will be printed.
LINE NUMBER
Required. This field identifies on which line the line descriptions will appear on the report.
EDIT CODE
Required. Determines how values are printed for data on this line. Valid values are:
Y - Print CR for credit amounts;
N - Print DR for debit amounts.
This field will default to Y if no value is entered.
UNDERSCORE
Required. This field determines whether to underscore each amount printed on the specified line. Valid values are:
Y - Underscore all amounts;
N - Do not underscore all amounts.
This field will default to N if no value is entered.
DOLLAR SIGN
Optional. This field determines whether to print a dollar sign with each amount on the line description. Valid values are:
Y - Print all amounts with a dollar sign;
N - Do not print all amounts with a dollar sign.
This field will default to N if a value is not entered.
LINE DESCRIPTION
Optional. Enter the text description that describes the data on this line.
COMMAND KEYS
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without processing the entered data.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F7 - Display the Analysis Report Heading screen.
F8 - Display the Analysis Report Column Heading screen.
F19 - Display the Analysis Report Title File Mass Maintenance screen, which allows you to duplicate existing records or change a report number.
F20 - Display the Analysis Report Title Search screen, which allows you to select heading and line description records that have already been created.
