The Allocation Specification File Search screen allows you to review previously entered allocation definition and accumulation records.
To find a specific record, enter as much information as you know about that record. For example, if you know the allocation number starts with B, enter 'B' in the Allocation field. The system displays the first record corresponding to the data you have entered, or alphanumerically following that data. If you do not enter an allocation number, the first record in the file will be displayed.
When a record is displayed, you may display records sequentially preceding or following the currently displayed record by pressing F5-Previous Record or F6-Next Record.
This screen is accessed by pressing F20-Search from any allocation processing screen.
ALLOCATION/SUBALLOCATION
Optional. Enter an allocation number and suballocation number to begin the search at a particular location in the Allocation Specification File. If you do not enter data in the Allocation field, the search will begin at the first record in the file.
RECORD NUMBER
Optional. To begin the search at a specific allocation accumulation record, enter the record number in this field. If the specified record is not found, the search will start at record that follows sequentially in the file.
