General Ledger Posting Reports

 

No matter which posting option is chosen, the statistical and financial General Ledger reports are produced.  These reports provide an audit trail of the posting activity.  They list beginning balance, transactions posted, and ending balance.  For each company/location, you can specify whether the reports should include all transactions for the period or only those transactions that were posted during the specific posting run.  This option is specified using the Print Previously Posted Transaction flag on the General Ledger Post Request Selection screen.  The value of this flag defaults to the value in Reference File category P01 if the record exists.  If the record does not exist, the flag defaults to N.s on Reference File category P01.
