Initialize Control Files

To correct the Valid Transaction File and the Cumulative Transaction File after either has been corrupted, and to initialize these files at startup or after any location is added to the system, perform the following procedures.

Correct Controls

1.   Enter the Initialize Control Files system operator functions option on the GLMENU to correct the Valid Transaction File and Cumulative Transaction File.  This submits a job to initialize the files.  The Verify and Adjustment Controls Transaction Listing is prepared automatically. 

After the option is selected, the GLMENU is redisplayed.
