Configuration Template Search Window

On any screen where  a configuration code is promptable you can access the Configuration Template Search Window (TMPCDW01) by pressing F23-Cfg Template.  This window allows you to identify more easily all fields that make up your configuration code.  It splits up the code into individual fields and allows you to perform searches on any or all of those fields.  This window can be called in five modes.

·     Search mode allows you to used a wild card character (*) to search the list of configuration codes for a specific code or group of codes.

·     Exact mode (including expanded configuration code) allows you to enter specific configuration code and expanded configuration code options without entering them in exact positions.

·     Exact mode (not including expanded configuration code) allows you to enter specific configuration code options without entering them in exact positions.

·     Inquiry mode (including expanded configuration code) allows you to view any configuration code and expanded configuration code more easily by breaking it down into specific options.
