Configuration Code Templates
Configuration Code Templates
You may define a configuration code template to break the configuration code and expanded configuration code into meaningful elements. You may define many templates, each of which can be associated with any number of configured items. The template defines the format of the configuration code and the expanded configuration code. Templates are assigned to parts in the Part Master Maintenance Program (DE100E). The figure below shows a Part Master Maintenance Configuration screen for part BENCH.
