The VDA Message Validation category contains information about Synchro VDA message fields validation. This category allows you to enter the VDA message record type.

VDA RECORD TYPE

Required. If a record has not been entered for a specific message record type, program GA217E assumes that all fields have to be validated. Valid VDA message record types are as follows:

For Delivery Requests: 511, 512, 513, 514, 515, 517, 518, 519

For Detailed Delivery Requests: 551, 552, 553, 554, 556, 557, 559

This screen allows you to specify which fields in the selected VDA message record should be validated during VDA message input (GA217E).

Placing a 'Y' in a specified field indicates to the system that the fields should be validated. If a combined validation has to be performed for specific fields (example: V51105, V51106), both flags must be set to 'Y' to perform this validation.
