the User Maintenance Authorization category contains cost and sales data authorization flags for users. If the category does not exist, all users are authorized to change cost and sales data. If at least one record is found, a user must have his/her cost and sales data authorization flags set to Y (yes) before he/she can update cost data or sales data for a part.
USER ID
Required. Used to identify the user whose authorization flags are being set.

This screen is used to define user maintenance authorization flags.
AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE COST DATA
Required. Used to identify if a user will be authorized to change cost data. Valid entries are:
Y - User is authorized to change cost data.
N - User is not authorized to change cost data.
AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE SALES DATA
Required. Used to identify if a user will be authorized to change sales data. Valid entries are:
Y - User is authorized to change sales data.
N - User is not authorized to change sales data.
