This category is used to define literals that will be displayed for user-defined fields in the Part Master Maintenance, Customer Master Maintenance, Account Master Maintenance, Vendor Maintenance, Lot Master Maintenance, the Company/Location, the Location Validation File Maintenance, Endorsement Maintenance, and Manufacturing Order Maintenance conversations.

APPLICATION CODE

Required. Indicates whether you will maintain literals for the Part Master Maintenance, the Customer Master Maintenance, the Account Master Maintenance, the Vendor Maintenance, the Lot Master Maintenance, the Company/Location, the Location Validation File Maintenance, the Endorsement Maintenance, or the Manufacturing Order Maintenance conversations. Valid values are:

P - Part Master Maintenance literals

C - Customer Master Maintenance literals

A - Account Master Maintenance literals

V - Vendor Maintenance literals

T - Lot Master Maintenance literals

L - Company/Location Maintenance literals

W - Location Validation File Maintenance literals

E - Endorsement literals

M - Manufacturing Order Maintenance literals

This screen allows you to specify literals for four user-defined fields that share the same data attributes. These literals will be used for data on the Part Master file, Customer Master file, Account Master file, Vendor file, Lot Master file, Company/Location Maintenance file, Endorsement Master file, or the Manufacturing Order file depending on what option was selected on the Function Select screen. The fields corresponding to these literals are all 10-character, alphanumeric fields.

The literals for other user-defined fields are specified on categories D95, D96, D97, D98, and D99.
