The Transaction Types category defines valid values for all transaction types used on selection screens. All seven type codes must be unique. This category can contain only one record. This is a required category.

This category has a blank key to allow only one record.

ADD TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will add, enter, or create something new.

CHANGE TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will change, correct, or modify something that already exists.

DELETE TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will delete, remove, or zero out something that already exists.

DEACTIVATE TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will deactivate, but not delete, an existing customer.

REACTIVATE TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will reactivate a customer that has been deactivated.

INQUIRE TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will inquire into, but not update, something that already exists.

ON-ACCOUNT TRANSACTION CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will apply a check from on-account in Payment Entry and Application.

COPY CODE

Required. This transaction code indicates that the transaction will create a new record by copying one that already exists.
