This screen allows you to specify processing defaults used by the Transfer Control module.
REQUISITION MAINTENANCE AUTHORITY CHECK
Required. If this flag is set to Y, the system will check whether the user is authorized to the supplying company/warehouse entered on the Requisition Maintenance Select screen (TC110S01) before any maintenance transactions are accepted for processing. It will also check your authorization before displaying transfer requisition information (on TC810S01) and before allowing you to request any reports (TC310S01, S03, and S04). Your authorization to a particular supplying company/warehouse is defined on Reference File category 409.
If N is entered, the system will first check if the T.O. Maintenance Authority Check flag is also set to N. If that flag is set to Y, the system will continue to perform Reference File category 409 authority checking. If both flags are set to N, any existing supplying company/warehouse may be entered on TC110S01, TC310S01, TC310S03, TC310S04, and TC810S01. If no records are defined on category 409, all users are authorized to all supplying company/warehouses.
In creating transfer part relationships, both DE100E and DE110E will be affected depending on the settings of these two flags.
T.O. MAINTENANCE AUTHORITY CHECK
Required. If this flag is set to Y, the system will check whether you are authorized to the receiving company/warehouse entered on the Transfer Order Maintenance Select screen (TC100S01) before any maintenance transactions are accepted for processing. User authorization, defined on Reference File category 409, will also be checked on TC800S01 before any information is displayed for a transfer order.
If N is entered, the system will first check if the Requisition Maintenance Authority Check flag is also set to N. If that flag is set to Y, the system will continue to perform Reference File category 409 authority checking. If both flags are set to N, any existing receiving company/warehouse may be entered. If no records are defined on Reference File category 409, all users are authorized to all receiving company/warehouses.
In creating transfer part relationships, DE100E will be affected depending on the settings of these two flags.
