The State Tax Information category defines valid state tax codes. Each state tax code identifies a state tax rate for a taxing region. This is not a required category. If no records are created for this category, state tax codes cannot be used.
STATE TAX CODE
Required. This field contains the code corresponding to the local state's tax rate.

STATE TAX RATE
Required. Contains the rate that would be multiplied by a pre-tax order amount to calculate the amount of state tax due (eg. 05000 = 5%).
TAX REGION
Optional. Contains the name of the state taxing entity.
