SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS DESCRIPTION
Optional. Used to relate the description to the user through the code entered on the select screen. The description will be printed on customer/vendor documents in their default language.
TRANSPORT MEDIUM
Optional. This field is used in a VAT environment where ESL/SSD management is used. The code number of the presumed medium of transport using the appropriate community code. The presumed mode of transport is determined by the active means of transport with which the goods are thought to have left the statistical territory of the member state of acquisition.
UP/DOWN PORT
Optional. This field is used in a VAT environment where ESL/SSD management is used. The code number of the port or airport of loading using the appropriate national code.
CORRECTIVE RATE
Optional. This field is used in a VAT environment where ESL/SSD management is used. This field is used in the calculation of the statistical value. The statistical value is established on arrival, on the basis of the taxable amount which must be determined for base purposes (amended version of the sixth VAT directive). The taxable amount minus taxes due because of home use and transport and insurance costs relating to that part of the journey which occurs in the statistical territory of the member state of arrival equals the statistical value. The corrective rate is intended to take care of that.
