The Shipment Types codes category contains the valid shipment type codes used in the system. The shipment type code indicates whether an order is to be sourced from warehouse inventory or directly from a vendor. This is a required category if Order Processing is installed.
SHIPMENT TYPE CODE
Required. This field is used to define the shipment type code that can be used in the system. Note that ship type C is only used for quotes when you want to defer the shipment type decision until the quote is converted into a sales order. Valid shipment types are:
D - Direct Ship
W - Warehouse
C - Defer decision

Required. This field indicates the decoded description associated with the shipment type.
