The Requisition Priority Codes category contains all the valid requisition priority codes used in the system. The codes allow the user to assign a relative level of importance to a requisition, to call attention to the high-priority requisitions that should be handled first. Reports are sorted according to this code (EBCDK sort). A default priority code is defined on the Purchasing System Defaults 1 record (category 491). This is a required category if the Purchasing application is installed.
REQUISITION PRIORITY CODE
Required. Used to define a code to rank the priority of a requisition. These codes are used to sort requisitions in priority code sequence on reports (EBCDK sort).
