This category allows you to define a template hierarchy structure to determine the order in which to search multiple templates for a valid price list or discount. A template priority can be defined for the following template types: price lists, line discounts, and volume discounts. You cannot establish a priority for header discount templates since header discounts cannot be defaulted onto orders.
TYPE/SEQUENCE
Required. Indicates the template type and sequence priority. Valid template types include: P, L, and V. The sequence priority is determined by location of the template within the hierarchy structure.

This screen allows you to associate a specific template to a location within the related template hierarchy structure. It also allows you to determine the processing effect of the template.
TEMPLATE CODE
Required. Indicates the template associated with the type/sequence entered on the Function Select screen. This must be a valid template on Reference File category G69.
CONTINUE FLAG
Required. Allows you to determine what happens when the template specifications are not met. For example, if price list templates (TM001, TM002, and TM003) are all listed in the template hierarchy and a match is found on template with the highest priority (TM001), the system will retrieve the template value (price list or discount) an not continue the search. If a match is not made with the template that has the highest priority, this flag indicates whether or not to continue searching through other templates on the list. This process continues until either a match is made or the flag indicates that the search should discontinue. Valid values are:
Y - Yes, continue processing through the template hierarchy structure if a valid price list or discount was not found.
N - No, do not continue searching further templates in the template hierarchy even if a valid price list or discount was not found.
