There is a flag for each of the thirteen Part Master Maintenance options:
(1) New Part Setup
(2) Addition
(3) Change Description
(4) Change Distribution
(5) Change Control
(6) Change Planning
(7) Change Productivity
(8) Change Purchasing
(9) Change Configuration
(10) User-Defined Fields
(11) Reactivation
(12) Deletion
(13) Deletion Report
Flag values are:
Y - User will be authorized to this option in the specified plant.
N - User will not be authorized to this option in the specified plant.
The user still must have been granted program level authority through Menu Authorization before this level of authority can be checked. The user thus must be granted authority to Part Master Maintenance (DE100E), as well as authority to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant entered here. This is done for specific users via Reference File category 409. If a user record does not exist for category 409, the user is authorized to all company/warehouses.
