The Order Starting Numbers category contains the next available requisition number and next available manufacturing order number. This category is used by the Master Scheduling Rollover Program (MS180E), the Requirements Planning Generation Programs (RP100E and RP106E), and the Simulation Schedule Maintenance conversation (RP140E) to assign an order number when a requisition or planned manufacturing order is generated.
This category is keyed by plant and requirements planning run mode.
PLANT/REQUIREMENTS PLANNING RUN MODE
Required. Identifies the plant for which the user wants to define the next available requisition or planned manufacturing order number, and the run mode in which this is to occur. Valid run modes are:
A - Actual run mode Required for creating actual orders in the Master Schedule Rollover, Requirements Planning Generation, and the Production Schedule Definitions conversations.
S - Simulated run mode Required for creating simulated orders in the Requirements Planning Generation and Simulation Schedule Maintenance conversations.

This screen allows you to specify the next available requisition and MO number.
REQUISITION STARTING INDEX
Required. A one character code used to identify requisition numbers.
REQUISITION STARTING NUMBER
Required. This field indicates the number that will be assigned to the next requisition created.
MO STARTING INDEX
Required. A one character code used to identify manufacturing orders.
MO STARTING NUMBER
Required. Must be numeric.
TRANSFER REQUISITION STARTING INDEX
Required. A one-character code to identify requisition numbers.

Required. Must be numeric.
