The Order Standing Codes category contains the order standing codes used to indicate stages in the processing life-cycle of a remote PC order. They allow you to determine if the order will be processed by the host server and whether you want to keep a copy of the order on the local database. This category contains the codes and decodes for the order standings.
This category has a blank key to allow for only one record. This record can be changed but cannot be deleted.

This screen is used to define order standing code information.
ORDER STANDING CODES
Required. Used to define the seven types of order standing codes used in the system. The first five codes are system-defined and the last two are user-defined.
NORMAL (0) DECODE
Required. Used to define a decode for the order that is ready to be uploaded to the host MAC-PAC database. After upload, the order is processed on by the host and finally is downloaded back to the PC. Once the order is downloaded, the local copy on the remote PC is removed.
SAVE (1) DECODE
Required. Used to define a decode for the order that is ready to be uploaded and processed on the host MAC-PAC database. However, once the order is downloaded, a copy is saved on the PC. Once the order is saved, you may copy its options to other orders as you maintain them.
QUOTE (2) DECODE
Required. Used to define a decode for the order that is for reference only. Quote orders are not uploaded to the host system; they are held on the PC. These orders can be released at a later time by changing their order standing and uploading them.
NORMAL AFTER EXTRACT (3) DECODE
Required. Used to define a decode for the order that has been uploaded to the host MAC-PAC system for processing. Once the order is downloaded the local copy is deleted and replaced with the processed copy. You may not maintain orders with this standing.
SAVE AFTER EXTRACTED (4) DECODE
Required. Used to define a decode for the order that has been uploaded to the host MAC-PAC system. You may not maintain orders with this standing.
RECOVERY (5) DECODE
Required. Used to define a decode for the order that had aborted at some point during entry. This order will not be uploaded to the host system. It can be corrected by changing the order. Orders with this standing should be deleted if they are not going to be recovered.
