The Next BOL Number category contains the next Bill Of Lading number for a particular company/warehouse combination. This BOL number is used in Order Processing and Transfer Control.

This is a required category if either the Order Processing or Transfer Control modules are installed. The category record can only be added and inquired upon; it cannot be changed.

COMPANY/WAREHOUSE

Required. This field indicates the sourcing company/warehouse for which a next BOL number is being established. The company/warehouse combination must be valid on the Warehouse Description File .

REQUEST CODE

Required. Enter one of the following transaction options to maintain the next BOL number corresponding to the company/warehouse entered above. Once the option has been entered, press the Enter key to process the request.

This screen allows you to maintain the next Bill Of Lading number to be used for the company/warehouse combination entered on the previous screen.

NEXT BILL OF LADING NUMBER

Required. This field is used to establish the next available BOL number for the company/warehouse. Once established, this number cannot be changed.
