This category allows you to enter a Next Available RMA Number per company/location combination. This number will be used by the system when generating RMA numbers. If the system is generating an RMA number, it will look at this category to retrieve the next number available. Once the number is assigned, this category will automatically be incremented by 1. While the RMA number is assigned on a company/location level, RMA numbers are unique throughout the system, regardless of company/location. This is a required category.
COMPANY/LOCATION
Optional. Enter a valid company/location from Reference File category 002. A blank company/location record may be added as a global default.

This screen allows you to enter a Next Available RMA Number for the entered company/location. After the system assigns the number, the Next Available RMA Number will be incremented by 1. While the RMA number is assigned on a company/location level, RMA numbers are unique throughout the system, regardless of company/location.

Required. Enter an eight place numeric. If no company/location is specified, this number will be the global default.
