The Next Available Fiscal Document Number - Function Select Screen allows you to set-up the next fiscal number to be automatically assigned in A/R for a company/location and/or document type. Once this category is set-up, it cannot be maintained.

COMPANY/LOCATION/DOCUMENT TYPE

Required. Enter the company/location and document type for which you wish to set-up/view the next fiscal number. The company/location must exist on Reference File category 002. The document type will be validated against Reference File category 329.

REQUEST CODE

Required. Enter the number corresponding to the type of maintenance you wish to perform

The Next Available Fiscal Document Number - Detail Screen allows you to set-up or view the next fiscal number to be assigned to the next document corresponding to the company/location and/or document type of the key. Once this category is initially set-up, it cannot be maintained.

CATEGORY NAME

Display only. Displays the name of this Reference File category.

CATEGORY KEY

Display only. Displays the key for the category that you entered on the function select screen.

NEXT FISCAL NUMBER

Required if setting-up. Display only if inquiring. This field is used to specify the next fiscal number to be assigned to a document matching the key shown in the Category Key field. When initially set-up, this field should be set to one.
