The Next Available Draft Number category provides the next available draft number at the time of draft creation. This category is keyed by company/location/ payment type. The company/location key is defined at the same level that customers are defined. For example, if you define customers at a global level, one record will exist on this category. If you define customers at a company level, you must set up a record on this category for each company in the system. If you define customers at the location level, you must enter both company and location in the key fields.
The level at which customers are defined is specified using the Currency Level field on Reference File category 133.
This category record can only be added or inquired upon; it cannot be changed after it has been setup initially.
