The Manufacturing Monitor Description category allows you to define the number of manufacturing monitors you would like to use. If only one is specified, only MPASYNCMON will be used. You will also be able to define the description of the four monitors that will be displayed on the Initiate/Cancel Monitors screen.
The Initiate/Cancel Monitors screen will allow you to cancel and initiate the manufacturing monitors you wish to use and only the monitors defined on this reference file category will be displayed on the screen.
This category has a blank key to allow only one record.

This screen allows you to define the description of the three monitors to be displayed on the Initiate/Cancel screen, in addition to the main manufacturing monitor, MPASYNCMON.
DESCRIPTION MONITOR 1
Optional; at least one monitor description must be entered and it must be unique. Enter the description to be used for the MPASYNCMON.
DESCRIPTION MONITOR 2
Optional; at least one monitor description must be entered and it must be unique. Enter the description for the additional manufacturing monitor 2.
DESCRIPTION MONITOR 3
Optional; at least one monitor description must be entered and it must be unique. Enter the description for the additional manufacturing monitor 3.
DESCRIPTION MONITOR 4
Optional; at least one monitor description must be entered and it must be unique. Enter the description for the additional manufacturing monitor 4.
