The Installation Libraries category contains information about the AS/400 libraries used to run the MAC-PAC software. This data is defined during system installation, but can be changed/updated as necessary.

This category identifies the names of the AS/400 libraries used to run the MAC-PAC software. The library structure is initially established during installation.
DATA LIBRARY
Required. Identifies the library that srtores the MAC-PAC data that is currently being used to run the software.
OBJECT LIBRARY
Required. Identifies the library that stores the AS/400 compiled objects that are currently being used to run the software.
USER MODIFIED SOURCE LIBRARY
Optional. Identifies the library that stores source code which has been customized at the client location. Changes identified in the source code of this library are applied to the source code of the standard source library.
AC MODIFIED SOURCE LIBRARY
Optional. Identifies the library that stores the source code which Andersen Consulting's MAC-PAC Development team has changed after the base version of standard source library was released. This library is used to store source code for MAC-PAC's interim releases (i.e., PTF releases).
STANDARD SOURCE LIBRARY
Required. Identifies the library that stores the source code associated with the base version of MAC-PAC which is currently being used to run the software.
RECOVERY LIBRARY
Optional. Identifies the library that stores the back-up source code used in case of a system failure.
