The Inspection Required Codes category contains valid codes that can be used in the system to indicate the type of quality control processing to be performed for a part. It is used in Part Master Maintenance, Vendor Master Maintenance, Warehouse Balance Maintenance (for distribution warehouses), Item/Vendor Relationship Maintenance, and Purchase Order Maintenance. This category is optional. If no records are defined for the category, inspection required codes cannot be used.
